Themed Walks
Lee Thompson, the Healthy & Active Lifestyle Officer organised an series of themed walks to take place throughout the Autumn in 2006. These included a moon walk to Royd Moor, a Halloween ghost walk, treasure hunts during half-term and a funghi find.
During the winter, a regular series of walks took place to venues such as Cannon Hall, the Lowry Centre in Salford and the Royal Armouries at Leeds, places where an interesting time can be had while walking under cover.
